Paris London - Day 5

Date :04.12.2009
Day : Friday
Activities : Unplanned..:D

Considering it was our last day in London, we (as in Mom and Dad) decided to take a tour just around our apartment. And it so happens that it was near to Hyde Park. After a very early breakfast and our clothes were fully packed, we made our way to the infamous Hyde Park. Strolling along the paths made me miss the days when you just don't have a care in the world..No worrying about the dogs or the 'leftover' the dogs might have left, no worrying about homework or school..just plain normal life walking about..the weather was exceptionally nice that morning..A cool breeze, the not-so-shining-hot sun that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside..hhmm..

In the midst of it, we came to a pond, and surprisingly a raft of ducks were just paddling through the waters nearby. Mom, being Mom, wanted a closer look and asked me to go over the fence to stand at the dock to take a picture. And the end result are shown below. haha.

Oh. Wow.

Wow..
It's been a year since I have the intention to update my blog. Some  of my friends have been complaining as to why I haven't updated any news.

First of all, I didn't know that someone would actually READ my blog. And secondly, due to the lack of time and space, I failed to update my blogs with the latest news. Not that there's no new news, but the news aren't so fetching to be told publicly. Anyways, apologies to those who were looking to read this blog, and a BIG thank you hug for following me! :D

I'm approaching the last two final semesters of my course and I am anticipating the chance to leave this 'place'. Only then I will be able to be 'free'. Things are hectic for me (hence, the no update) and it's a hassle trying to keep my head together, but with the help of my friends and teddies, I'm able to pull through.

Dancing Bears

*This post may contain graphical images that may be disturbing. These pictures have not been photoshopped or edited in any way. The stories are based on true stories from the Wildlife : SOS website. Parental guidance is advised. Not for the fainted heart.*
I was watching the Discovery Channel awhile ago, and they aired this program about rescuing animals..I'm not sure the title of the documentary was, but it was a story about these Dancing Bears..I thought it was just going to show a sleuth of bears eating or anything related to their nature..Unfortunately, it wasn't..it was about these bears that were tortured to dance for entertainment..it was horrific..let's just say i had a big frown on my face after the show..

So, to educate the public with this issue I did a bit of a research..

My Water Moments

Water.H2O.Every living organism's most exceptional necessities. People say the greatest moments happen underwater. Picture this. The majestic blue whale swims in a tranquil movement flawlessly through the current, while deep in the blue ocean a clown fish is swimming around chasing a blue fish named Dory..waitt..that sounds like a scene from Disney's Finding Nemo..Well, I assume the underwater scene would be something like that.. I've had my fair shares of water moments. When we were kids, my family would usually go for holidays during school break. We've been to Melaka for A'famosa's Waterworld, Port Dickson Beach, Langkawi, Pangkor Island, Cherating, and even foreign beaches around the world.. But when it comes to taking pictures, boy, what a hassle it is..We need to make sure we were keeping a 10m radius away from the fun splashes and obviously the water, just to keep our cameras safe and dry..my aunt in the picture is proof enough..

Persian Prince

went to see Prince Of Persia : The Sands Of Time today right after i arrived KL..

my Numerical class finished at around 9.30a.m++..even though it's Wesak Day, the lecturer still insisted that we have at least a 2-hour class today..(groan)..

anyways, after i arrived at KLCC i straight away made my way to TGV KLCC to get my hands on the tickets..
unfortunately for me, the line was quite long and despite the fact that today is a Friday, there are a lot of 'couples' that were lining up..guess the guys missed their Friday Prayer..intentionally..

so the movie was set to be at 12.30p.m, cinema number 2, seat J19..

with my bag (including my laptop n books) i plopped on the seat and waited for the movie to start..

Haunted Hostel

some of you know that i'm continuing my studies for my intersession for the holidays..(what a way to spend my holidays)..since i don't live in a rent house, i stay in the college hostel..its near to my faculty..

needless to say, everything was ok..so far..

until, my friend told me this eerie story that happened to a friend of her friend..

it was around midnight in M******* college in Shah Alam..she was either going up to her room or down to her room..either way she needs to use the elevator..

she pressed the 'up/down' button..

then as the elevator doors open..

what she saw gave her the shock of her life..

Of Snobby Arabs and Taylor Lautner

You may be confused by my post title, but don't fret..I'll definitely explain it to you..

while I was sleeping last night i had a dream..I'm not sure why i did considering i washed my feet, brushed my teeth and didn't drink anything sweet before sleeping..

it was fairly vague but it started off at the airport, where i met two Arabian guys..quite tall wearing normal clothes and no beard..apparently you can understand any language in your dream so in this case i could understand Arabic as well as i can understand English..
anyways, we were walking in the airport when one of the Arabs' shoe sole came off..so he wanted to buy new shoes before going on the plane..

Kick what--?

Kick-Ass. The first time you hear the name, you're sure it's gonna be a hell of a movie. Probably with cheesy dudes dressed in cheap costumes. Actually that is exactly what it is..

yesterday, i wanted to go home to pick up a few of my books so after lunch i headed home with only the clothes on my back. Took the bus as usual but the unusual part of it was midway through the journey a few 'bus officers' came on board to check our tickets..

thank God i didn't throw it somewhere in my pocket even though i was half-asleep and half-awake..
anyways..made my way through KLCC eventually..and quickly went up the escalators to go to TGV cinemas..

NIgthmare On Elm Street..really??

As a post-sickness remedy, i decided to catch some light onto my skin and went out to catch a movie at my usual place-->KLCC..hehe

i planned to watch Kick-Ass since i thought it was 'interesting' despite the name of the movie..unfortunately, the time of the show was at 6.45p.m and for those who knows me, knows very well that i don't like catching very late evening movies..unless i have to..

anyways, lining up to get to the counter, i watched the blue screen displaying numerous movie titles showing the time and etc..
The Losers was still alive, but considering i have already watched it at Ijat's PC i skipped and tried to watch Nightmare On Elm Street..the show was at 3.20p.m..for 1(one) person and RMXX..seat number L19 and cinema number 2..
